Last exams

Today I did my two last exams, biology and english. I am so happy because I have nearly finished school. We didn't have much time to prepare all the exams and I am afraid I didn't get the marks I need.

At home we are busy with other things. Last week we found a hurt little cat of 2 months in the street and we took it home to look after it. Now it is one more of our big family, she is called Lissy. Another little cat we adopted last year at "Pro gat" has got an kidney infection and is very ill. We had to take it to the veterinary today and we hope it will be better soon.

This afternoon was the first day in weeks that I didn't have to study and I went to Figueres with my boyfriend shopping.

Kate's class

Last friday we had a special english class. Kate, a friend of Lourdes and an english native talked to us about how she came here and what she was doing. She also asked us some basic questions about England to know if we had any idea. She doesn't speak catalan, and only a bit of spanish because she says that talking english you can go anywhere.

We talked about the differences between young people in England and here and she told us that we have much more freedom here. Young people cannot go to pubs before they are 18 years old and also have to come home much earlier, because the pubs close at 1 a.m. She asked us about our exams and the "selectivitat" because our system is different to the one in England.

I understood Kate very well because she talked slowly.

Messi's fantastic Goal!!

Barcelona-Getafe!

Hello again!
Last Wednesday I was at the Camp Nou with my boyfriend and his father to watch the Barça's match.
First of all, we thought it wasn't a very special match, but it became really important after Messi's wonderful goal! It was incredible, all the stadium was shouting, nobody could believe what I were seeing, what a spectacle!!
It became an interesting match, 5-2, lots of goals to see. I'm not a very fanatic football fan, but Edu is. He loves all the Barça players more than me, but well... :P I can live with it...
We returned home very late and I had to go to school the next day, I was tired, ,but well I think it was worth it. I have seen something that will pass at the sport history!

April 23rd

Hi guys!

How are you?

April 23rd was "Saint Georg", Catalonia's patron. I love that day, I think it's a very special and nice day. Not only for the rose of my boyfriend, it's because of the atmosphere in all the streets of every village. Wonderful decorated streets with thousands and thousands of books and roses.

That year I couldn't visit any stand, I had to study...how strange, really? But well, it's the end of second batxiller and I can understand it.

Barça-Madrid video!!

Barça-Madrid match!

Hi classmates!

How a exciting match, don't you think?

What is Barça doing?

Blanca, Helena and I went to the bar JR in Castelló and bought our dinner before the important match. After that we went to Albert Genis house to watch the match with other friends. Most of the people we met there are university students this year and we cannot meet very often. In the room there was lot of tension, and all the boys were shouting and jumping on the sofa...

The last few minutes of the match all of us were silent, watching how we had lost, but the best came the last minute when Messi did the last goal!!

They drew 3-3 but it was celebrated like a victory for us!

After that we had a nice night, we went all together to Fata!

My bithday!!

Hello again!

February 13th was my 18's birthday... finally!!!!

How fast time goes by, I can still remember when I was 12 or 13 and it seemed to be such a long time to be 18 and now here we are!

I'm a little sad because I haven't celebrated it. There was no time with all the carnival partys and exams...so we said to celebrate it after that, but my friends didn't remember. Last year I couldn't celebrate it for the same reason...
Simply too many exams

But well... I hope we can make a dinner soon.

Carnival 2007!!

Hi guys!

How are you this hard exams week?

So, I'm quite happy because we have only 3 exams left, the others are finished.

Today I want to talk about carnival, I know it was 3 weeks ago but I didn't have any time before.

My friends and I were dressed up as strawberries, it was a nice costume! We went to Rosas's and Castelló's carnival but we didn't have time to go to Empuriabrava's carnival. The reason was that we arrived very late on friday night after going to Barcelona to watch a funny theatre play "Don Gil de las calzas verdes".
I also went on two different days to the carnival at Sant Pere's, where my boyfriend lives. I knew lots of people there and I passed a great time there.

Samy's 18th birthday party

On saturday 10th of February I went to a wedding in the morning and came back at night, it was Edu's cousin who got married.

Then I went to Samy's birthday party at Ampuria Inn in Empuriabrava. It was also her mother's birthday and they had a big party together with people of different ages. We had a very good dinner and afterwards we had a good time with a magician, because he involved several people in his tricks and we laughed a lot. Then we danced until the morning and had a lot of fun. When the party finished at five in the morning I was so tired that I went to bed, but my friends all together went to Pacha to dance even more.

My holidays in "Mexico"

Hi guys!

I have just been back from Mexico. We had a very long and uncomfortable flight but it was worth it. We could only visit a very small part of this big country and enjoyed it very much. There was nearly no beach left because it had been afected by the last hurricane and we had to walk for a while until we found a lovely place. We visited some of the maya's pyramides and climbed up one of it. From the top we could see tropical vegetation all around, it was amazing. It was an aventure to climb down again because the steps were so high and you could not hold on to anything.

Christmas dinner

Hello people!! Here I'm!!

So, today I want to talk about my illness the day of the Christmas dinner. I had to stay in bed for a week, I was sick and I also had headache. I remember that I was lying on the sofa, I was tired and feverish but I was also sad because I wanted to go to the dinner with all my friends and afterwards to the disco with them...

But well... we can't have it all always, I heart some comments and I know they had enjoyed the dinner very much.

Turkey

Hello together!

I have not written in my blog for a long time, and during that time lots of interesting things happened to me which I will tell you.

During our holidays at the (Pont de la Puríssima) my parents decided to visit Istambul in Turkey, so we went there for 5 days. At first I wasn't very thrilled to go there because I had prefered stay home and to go out with my firiends, but then I decided to go and the experience was extraordinary! What a nice city...with all their castels, palaces and huge mosques. We had a good time there, it was nice to know a new culture and country which is half in Europe and half in Asia... the great majority of the people are like us, Europeans with white skin, so you didn't find big differences between us.

So I recomend everybody to visit this wonderful place, I didn't want to go there because it seems to be a bad and dirty land, but that are only prejudices... Now I'm happy that my parents made me to go with them.

My family and my pets!

Hi everybody! How are you?

Today I will present us my family and my animals! I live in Empuriabrava in a house with my parents called Ramon and Petra. My father is from Vilafant and my mother is from Germany, so I can speak and understand german. They are real estate agents. I have two younger sisters, Miriam is 15 and Júlia is 10 years old. It seems a crazy house, full of animals- at least ten cats at the moment and our two dogs. Sometimes there is no place for me on the sofa because, as you can see at the photo, cats take the better places.
